Bruxelles-Propreté expects major disruptions to its services on November 24, 25, and 26 due to union actions against the federal government’s measures.
Although the Regional Agency has been organizing for several days to limit the impact on its rounds, it already anticipates that waste collections scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will be heavily affected. Due to the scale and duration of the social movement, all municipalities will be impacted.
The effects of the strikes will be felt as early as Monday morning. Several bag collection rounds will be severely disrupted, which will also affect the Agency’s commercial collection service. In addition to restrictions caused by staff unavailability, external constraints may complicate operations, such as limited or interrupted access to certain disposal sites.
For bags left on sidewalks, catch-up rounds will be organized depending on the situation’s evolution and available resources.
Please note that other services, such as container collections, Recypark, and bulky waste collections, are also expected to experience similar disruptions.
Bruxelles-Propreté thanks users in advance for their patience and understanding.
